How do I become a member of the Global Electronics Association?
To become a member, please complete the Online Membership Application and select the appropriate membership tier. Once your application is approved and payment is received, your membership and benefits will be activated.
How can I renew my membership?
To renew your membership, you simply complete the Membership Renewal Application. If you need an updated quote, please reach out to our Customer Service team at contact@electronics.org.
Are there specific requirements to become a member of the Global Electronics Association?
To qualify for membership, your company must be part of the global electronics ecosystem and maintain good standing with the Association. The Global Electronics Association is a trade association, and memberships are available to companies rather than individuals.
How can we pay for membership?
Membership dues are paid in U.S. dollars. You can pay by credit card, check, ACH or wire transfer.
- Credit card: Pay online during the initial Online Membership Application, at the time of renewal www.electronics.org/Renew-Today, or call Customer Service at +1 847 615 7100 to pay by phone.

- Purchase Orders (POs): You may issue a PO. We will include the PO number on your invoice and bill accordingly. Membership is activated only after payment is received.

What is the structure for annual membership dues?

Why are there two separate dues: company membership dues and standards subscriber dues?
Company membership dues cover your organization’s membership with the Global Electronics Association.
A Standards Subscription is a separate program that gives members convenient access to a wide range of IPC standards. Standards subscriptions are purchased through authorized distributors and require an active company membership at a subscriber level. Because the subscription is a distinct service, it follows its own dues schedule, in addition to the subscription cost.
Do you offer a multi-year company membership?
Yes. Sign up for multiple years and save! Receive a 10% discount on a two-year membership. Discounts apply when a multi-year membership is purchased on the same order.
If my company buys a Global Electronics Association membership, do we also get a WHMA membership?
Yes. WHMA membership is automatically included with a Global Electronics Association membership.
How do I check my company’s membership status?
Log in to My Dashboard to view your company’s membership status.
If you don’t have an account with the Association yet, choose Register to create one, then log in and access My Dashboard.
When I register, am I creating a company account or an individual account?
Once you’re registered, you do not get a separate company account.
You create an individual account using your own email address and password. If you are associated with a company, please use your company email address. If you are not affiliated with a company, use your personal email address.
You register with your email address and create a password.
- Your email becomes your username.
- When you log in, you log in as an individual using your own credentials, not a shared company login.
How can I associate myself with my company?
You can link your account to your company during registration or anytime later:
- Log in to your account and go to My Dashboard.
Click Edit My Profile. - Check “I am associated with a company.”
- Find your company in the Company/Organization dropdown list.
- Use the Zip Code field to narrow the list.
- Click Save.
Remember: to receive member rates and benefits, your company must be an active member.
How do I reset my password?
- To set/reset your password, visit www.electronics.org/password.
- Enter your email address and click “Send Email.”
- Check your email for a message with the subject “Your Global Electronics Association Login Account - Reset Password” and click on the link provided.
- Enter a new password into the form and click “Change Password.”
- You may now use your email address and your new password to login. *

Can I, as a member, see a list of all the Global Electronics Association member companies?
You can now access the Membership Directory to see the list of all members of the Association.
How do I become a WHMA member?
You can join anytime in the membership portal at WHMA.org. Simply complete the application and submit payment to activate your membership.
Are there requirements for becoming a WHMA member?
WHMA is the Wiring Harness Manufacturers’ Association, serving the global wire harness and cable assembly industry. Membership is open to manufacturers, suppliers, OEMs, and service providers within the industry.
To qualify for membership, your company must be part of the electronics manufacturing industry supply chain and maintain good standing with the Association. Becoming a member of WHMA, you are also a member of the Global Electronics Association.
